MULLINS - Mrs. Magnolia Bullock Collins, 84, widow of Robert H. Collins, Sr., died Friday, August 20, 2010 at Marion Nursing Center after an illness. Mrs. Collins, a loving mother and grandmother who dearly loved people, was born January 27, 1926 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Joseph Thurman "J.T." Bullock, Sr. and the late Alice Grainger Bullock. She had retired from Sara Lee Hosiery. She was a graduate of Aynor High School. Mrs. Collins was a member of Gapway Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Bible Class. Surviving Mrs. Collins are: her Children: Robert H. Collins, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Mullins, Alice Ruth Owens and her husband Jimmy of Mullins, Evans Collins and his wife Nancy of Mullins and Beth Brown and her husband Danny of Chuckey, Tn.; 8 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; a Sister: Nancy Bernice Spence of Mullins, and a Brother: Bill Bullock of West Columbia. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, August 23 in Gapway Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Bailey officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Alice Ruth Owens at 3213 S. Hwy. 41 Mullins.
