LADSON, SC - Elneta R. Piggott, age 80, of Ladson, SC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born in Conway, SC on October 16, 1929, to the late Henry Erby Roberts and Thennie Carroll Roberts. She was a past Queen of the Daughters of the Nile, 1970. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, sightseeing, and collecting glass antiques. She was a member of Riverbluff Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Baird of Ladson, SC; daughter, Jeanette Tetterton (Gene) of Charleston, SC; son, Rusty Piggott (Shirley) of Hanahan, SC; step children, Karen Dianne Blocker (Michael) of NC, Nathan Baird (Christie) of Summerville, SC, Michael Baird (Michelle) of TN; grandchildren: Renee Bradford (Jason) of Nashville, TN, Michelle Riddle (Stephen) of Goose Creek, SC, Cherie Rush (Jeffrey) of Ladson, SC, David Wayne Piggott of Columbia, SC, and John Edward Piggott of Hanahan SC, Allison Blocker, Brett Blocker, Lauren Baird, Jenna Baird, Jacquline Baird, Caitlyn Baird, Cheldin Baird; great-grandchildren: Joey, Katie, Garrett, Cody, Emma, Emerson. She was preceded in death by her brother: Henry Erby Roberts, Jr., and her first husband, Elton Wayne Piggott. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 26, 2010, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2010, at the funeral home.
