Debra Ann Collins Goud, 53, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at her home following a sudden illness. Mrs. Goud was born January 16, 1957 in Wilmington, N.C., a daughter of Evelyn H. Collins and the late Franklin Collins. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, and going to the beach. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and aunt. Mrs. Goud was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Danny Goud. Survivors, in addition to her mother of Wilmington, N.C., include one son, Dewayne Alford and his wife Rhonda of Loris; one daughter, Maranda Alford Todd and her husband Richard of Loris, one sister, Sylvia Collins Fowler of Wilmington, N.C.; one brother-in-law, Jerry Goud of Loris; five grandchildren, Brodie, Kassidy, Cutter, Caleb, and Gavin; and six special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, August 13, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ward Funeral Home in Loris. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Ward Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alvin Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cane Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
