Jack W. Marlowe, 74, of Conway, S.C., died Monday, August 9, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice after a long illness. Mr. Marlowe was born in Horry County, a son of the late Jeff and Annie Bell Marlowe. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeronia R. "Jeri" Marlowe; and two brothers, Geter and Earl Marlowe. Surviving are one daughter, Jackie Todd and her husband, Thurman, of Spartanburg, S.C.; three step daughters, Vera (Donnie) Cusack of Georgetown, S.C., Dianne (Robert) Rodriguez of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Angie Elvis of Conway; two step sons, Jeff (Cindy) Martin and Nelson Martin, both of Conway; one brother, Wendel Marlowe of Gresham; twenty five grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; one great grandchild; special friends, Wendell and Kathy Cooper of Conway and many other family and friends who will miss him. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Funeral Service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 int the Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Lamar Boulware officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
