Emma Jane Dyson, of Hwy. 319, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 surrounded by her family. Ms. Emma was born August 18, 1925 in Galivants Ferry, S.C., a daughter of the late Lazarus J. and Lottie Jones Peavy. Ms. Dyson was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She was a member of Aynor First Baptist Church and the Speeders Club. Surviving are two sons, Jimmie Dyson and his wife, Esther, of Aynor, and Sidney Dyson and his wife, Gwenn, of Tampa, Florida; three daughters, Jennie Dunn and her husband, Terry, of Conway, Glenda Hopson and her husband, Don, of Aynor, and Debi James and her husband, Derrick "Button," of Galivants Ferry; eleven grandchildren, Jimmie Dyson and his wife, Lynn, Pattie Carmichael and her husband, Jamie, Sam Dyson, Jennifer Richardson and her husband, Keith, Jessica Yourko and her husband, Danny, Heather Hendrick and her husband, Le, Derrick James and his wife, Michelle, Nicholas James and Rene' Stewart, Chris Dunn and his wife, Brittany, and Craig Dunn and his wife, Sarah; and fourteen great-grandchildren, Abbie Rose Richardson, Aiden Keiffer Richardson, Adyson Yourko, Lyndsey Dyson, Madyson Dyson, Jason Carmichael, Jackson Carmichael, Nora Lynn James, Joey Hendrick, Skylar Stewart, Kyle Dunn, Cole Dunn, Chase Dunn, and Brandon Kinsey. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lillie Mae Sellers, Dr. Charles Sasser, Darlene Fernandez, and Mercy Hospice for all their love and care. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Aynor First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tony Adams and the Rev. Glenn Johnson officiating.
