MARION - Mrs. Janice "Ethel" Prevatte McDaniels, 71, wife of Elwood Watts, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at her home after an illness. Mrs. McDaniels was born May 12, 1939 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Johnny and Mamie Lucille Graham Prevatte. She had retired from the Easterling Primary School cafeteria. Mrs. McDaniels was a faithful member of East Marion Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving Mrs. McDani-els in addition to her husband of Marion are: her Children: Violet (Lawrence) Johnson of Marion, Angela (Edwin) Hardee of Marion and Clayton (Angela) Mc-Daniels of Mullins; 6 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; her Step-children: Patsy (Danny) Gardner of Marion, Debra (Jughead) Hamilton of Horry, Junior (Allison) Watts of Mullins and Hank Watts of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McDaniels was pre-deceased by her first husband, Junior McDaniels; a grandson, Johnathan Har-dee and a sister, Mae Bell Hayes. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00 Until 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 29, at East Marion Pentecostal Holiness Chur-ch, with Rev. Gene Morgan, Rev. Neil Hinson and Rev. Betty Quick officiating.
