WEST COLUMBIA - Funeral service for James Wilford Lee, 74, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with entombment in Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mr. Lee was born in Horry County, SC, March 23, 1936, and passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He was a son of the late Lester Lee and Alma Hardee Lee. He owned and operated Lee's Home Repair. Mr. Lee served in the United States Marine Corps and was an avid Ford fan. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Alice Clark Lee of West Columbia; daughter, Bonnie Lee of West Columbia; son, James W. Lee Jr. of Lexington; daughter, Vicki Bergerson (Todd) of Gaston; grandchildren, Alex Lee and Timothy James Lee; brother, Linwood Lee of North Myrtle Beach, Joe Lee of Fort Myers, FL, Jimmy Powell of Gaston; sister, Marie Padgett of Lexington. He was predeceased by his brothers, Walden Lee, Eugene Lee and T. Bill Lee.
