CHARLESTON, SC - Entered into eternal rest the afternoon of Sunday, November 14, 2010, Kathryn Heniford Flowers, widow of John Magill Flowers. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Cooper River Baptist Church, at twelve o'clock. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL, Wednesday, November 17, 2010, from five until seven o'clock. In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to Cooper River Baptist Church, 1059 Crawford Street, N. Charleston, SC 29405. Born December 2, 1924, in Loris, SC, Kathryn was the daughter of Grant MacDuffie Heniford and Nina Golda Rowell Heniford. She was a Charter Member of Cooper River Baptist Church and served as Secretary for many years. Survivors include four sons: Michael H. Flowers of N. Charleston, Harold C. Flowers of Mt. Pleasant, John M. Flowers, Jr. of Sheldon, SC and Jeffrey A. Flowers of N. Charleston; a daughter: Kathryn Flowers Moore of Beaufort, SC ; a brother: John Heniford of York, SC; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
