Robert Dennis "Chinaman-Jap" Garrett, 51, of Rush Road, died Monday, November 29, 2010. He was born June 1, 1959 in Conway, a son of Robert "Red" and Bertha Cooper Garrett. In additions to his parents he was also predeceased by a brother, David Charles Jordan. Dennis had a heart of gold, always helping others. He enjoyed making crafts out of wood. Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife, Wanda Ivette Matos Garrett of Conway; brother, Bobby E. Jordan (Linda) of Galivants Ferry; Susie Viscarra (Joe) of Calabash, N.C., Vonice Helms (Charles) of Conway, Betty Andrews (Geoff) of Calif., and Yvonne Callahan (James) of Conway; and many other family and friends who will miss him. Funeral Services will be held 4 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Norman Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow in Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
