Nancy Bell Watts Bellamy, 82, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 following an illness at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Mrs. Bellamy was born July 1, 1928 in Loris, S.C., daughter of the late Gaston Watts and the late Mattie West Watts. Mrs. Bellamy retired from Aberdeen Industries and then worked for many years as a floral designer with Kathy's Flowers and Gifts in Loris. Mrs. Nancy was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she was a devoted homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her two sons, J. Dan Bellamy, Sr., and Layne Bellamy and wife, Diane, all of Loris; two daughters, Jeannette Summers and husband, Dwight, of Orangeburg, and Diane King and husband, Mark, of Clinton; one sister, Virginia Carter and husband, Paul, of Longs; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bellamy was predeceased by her parents; her husband, John Dallas Bellamy; two sisters, Lois Gore and Lou Berta Cox; and one grandson, Cory Alexander King. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend David Watts officiating. Committal services will follow at Buck Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Hardwick Funeral Home.
