Sunday afternoon there was a wonderful celebration in Heaven for a new Angel, Milford "Mel" Causey arrived. Mr. Causey was born in Conway, a son of the late Robert Fulton and Maybelle Stalvey Causey, Sr. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Causey retired as a Senior Vice President with Bank of America. He was an avid golfer. Surviving are his wife, Priscilla Causey of Myrtle Beach; one son, Gregory Fulton and wife, Kelly, of Fort Mill; one daughter, Kimberley Causey Gomez of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; four grandchildren, Antonio Fulton Gomez, Tyler Fulton Causey, Gabriella Bonet Gomez, and Samantha Mary Causey; two brothers, Robert Causey, Jr. and wife, Pat, of Columbia, Jesse Causey and wife, Sylvia, of Conway; five sisters, Velma Jacobs and husband, Jake, of Richmond, Va., Veronia Jordan and husband, Blonzie, of Conway, Ruby Lee Fowler and husband, Nelson, of Conway, Marguerite Benton of Conway, and Olene McNair and husband, Bobby, of Myrtle Beach; several nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law, Charlotte Mullins of Madison, Va. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Novembaer 26, 2010 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Guffey and Rev. Tommy Rowe officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive family and friends prior the service, from 2 until 3 p.m., at the church.
