Maude Beverly Graham, 99, wife of the late Sidney "Edgar" Graham, of the Martin Hill Community of Conway, S.C., passed away December 11, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Graham was born November 9, 1911 to the late Silas "Dock" Beverly and Adria Pope Beverly. She was the eldest of 12 siblings. Mrs. Graham was a member of the Pauley Swamp Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, and with Baptist Missionary Women. She was a homemaker, who loved to sew, cook and served as a community barber for many years. She was predeceased by a son, Vonzo L. Graham; a daughter, Shirley Graham Mason; and grandson, Robert Mason, Jr.; four brothers, Marvin Beverly, Robert Buck Beverly, Wade Beverly, and S. D. Beverly, all of Conway; four sisters, Fancy Beverly Collins, Ruby Beverly Causey, Grace B. Marlowe, and Alice B. Todd, all of Conway; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Agape Hospice and the caregivers for their love, care, and kindness. Surviving are two daughters, Tessa Graham Edmondson of Conway; Mary G. (Joe) Lundry of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; two sons, Sidney E. "Ned" Graham (Barbara) of Los Angeles, Calif.; John D. Graham (Pauline) of Raleigh, N.C.; and special nephew, C.W. "Carl" Bellamy (Bomiie) of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Darilyn Wilson, Rippy Graham of Columbia, Dan Mason of Hendersonville, N.C., Holli Christi, Sharon Orser & Matthew Colbom of Florida, Jeff and Jason Graham of Raleigh, N.C., Chrystal E. Ball of Nakina, N.C., and Westley Edmondson of Houston, Texas; 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine B. Hampton of Georgia and Nina Beverly of Conway; and one brother, Paul Beverly of Conway. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Kirk Lawton and Westley Edmondson. Interment will follow in the State Branch Cemetery, 2700 Beverly Road, Conway.
