Shirley Brewer Sketers, 73, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at Agape Hospice of Conway. Born on March 4, 1937 in Horry County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Pope and Rosa Lee Cox Hamilton. Mrs. Sketers is survived by her husband, Albert Sketers of Little River; two sons, Randy O'Rourke of Socastee, Chris Hamilton of Crescent Beach; step-daughters, Sharon Vereen of North Myrtle Beach, Synese Sketers and Kecia Sketers, both of Wilmington, NC and Tonya Gore of Columbia, SC; and sister, Sonny Winston of Charlotte. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 13, 2010 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.
