    1. [SCHORRY] Henry C. Causey
    2. H. C. Causey, Jr., 78, of Long Avenue Ext., died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Causey was born in Conway, a son of the late Henry C. Causey, Sr. and Beulah Leona Peavey Causey. He was a member of Maple Baptist Church for 65 years where he was a member of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class. Mr. Causey was a member of the DAV, Conway Chapter #57 and the Woodmen of the World. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran of the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he was a Lieutenant with the Conway Police Department. Mr. Causey was instrumental in the day to day operations of his son's business, Steve Causey Floor Refinishing. He was predeceased by a sister, Olivia Causey Smith. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Richardson and Gina Healy with In Care Hospice for their special care of H.C. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Betty Hudson Causey, of Conway; one son, Steve Causey and his wife, Terral of Conway; one daughter, Nancy Causey Faulk and her husband, Greg of Conway; four grandchildren, Steven Causey, Rebecca Causey, and twins, Lauren Faulk and Justin Faulk; two step-grandchildren, William Koster and Alexandra Koster; one sister, Peggy Graham of Myrtle Beach; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Maple Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Reeves officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to Maple Baptist Church, 4500 Hwy. 65, Conway, SC 29526.
