Joseph Clifford Pittman, 88, of Sherwood Drive, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Conway Medical Center. Mr. Pittman was born in Horry County, a son of the late Walter and Lelia Jenerette Pittman, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Herbert L. Richardson; two brothers, E.P. Pittman, George L. Pittman; and a sister, Estelle Baxley. Surviving are his loving wife, Ruby Alice Brown Pittman; a daughter, Linda Richardson; and a granddaughter Teresa Richardson, all of Conway; three stepbrothers, Bobby Richardson of Mullins, Carroll Richardson of Calif., and Buddy Richardson of Ga. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2010 from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Carl Hunsucker and John Wynn officiating. Burial will follow at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery in Galivants Ferry. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the funeral home.
