Anna Brooks Roberts, 71, wife of Lewis P."L.P." Roberts of Elizabeth Street, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Tidelands Hospice House in Georgetown. Mrs. Roberts was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Andrew and Florrie Sellers Brooks. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, quilting, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Karen Smith and husband, Shannon, of Walterboro and Pamela Morris of Hemingway; two sons, Robbie Roberts of Galivants Ferry and Lynn Roberts and wife, Lynda, of Orangeburg, S.C.; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at the funeral home.
