    2. John Henry Mishoe, 73, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following an illness. Born November 16, 1937 in Loris, S.C., son of the late Rufus Mishoe and the late Mae Hardee Mishoe. Mr. Mishoe served his country with courage and honor in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, he retired as a long distance truck driver and was a longtime member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sharon R. Mishoe of Loris; five sons, Ronnie Mishoe and wife, Gail, of Conway, Laymon Mishoe and wife, Shirell, of Conway, Vivon Mishoe and wife, Sherry, of Fayetteville, N.C., Henry Mishoe and wife, Ernestine, of Socastee, and Maurice Mishoe and wife, Sarah, of Conway; two daughters, Jackie Mishoe Martin of Loris, and Ladene Gilmore and husband, Monroe, of Oklahoma; two sisters, Edwana Todd and husband, Robert, and Wyvanna Kinard and husband, Ed, all of Loris; eighteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Mishoe was predeceased by his parents; and his brother, Charles Mishoe. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with committal services following at Cherry Hill Cemetery. Pastor John Holmes and Reverend Ragsdale Allsbrook will officiate services. Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, 2010, from 10 a.m. until noon, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
