Ralph Carson, 83, of Franks Lane, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Carson was born in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Ralph Austin and Elizabeth Carson. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Carson was a member of the Moose Lodge, and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pinky; two brothers, Richard and Bob Carson. Surviving are one daughter, Pamela Stauffer and husband, Carl, of Conway; two grandchildren, Brian Daughterty of Conway and Mike Daugherty of Akron, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Samantha, and Dominic; three step-grandchildren, Carl, Jr., Chuck, and Chris; two brothers, Raymond Carson, George Carson; one sister, Garnet Pursley; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday,November 22, 2010 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with Pastor Mark Burlinson officiating.
