Bruce Earl Henderson, age 58, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 10, 1952 in Little River, SC son of Mr. Homer O. Henderson and Mrs. Dolly Marie Brown Henderson. Mr. Henderson worked as a commercial fisherman and was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship in Little River. Bruce was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Karen Houck Henderson of Little River; son, Jason Thomas "J.T." Henderson of Little River; his two daughters, Jennifer Henderson Porter and husband, Robert E. of Naples, FL and Brandy Marie Henderson of Little River; four grandchildren, Makala and Taylor Gore and Aubrey and Caroline Porter; two brothers: Jackie Henderson of Little River and O.D. Henderson of Albemarle, NC and sister, Hazel Pinson of Wilmington, NC. Mr. Henderson was predeceased by his parents; brother, Bobby Henderson and sister, Carolyn Faye Henderson Causey. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Grace Christian Fellowship in Little River, SC. Pastor Leon Weber will officiate services.
