Jack Willie Skipper, 83, of Sweet Street, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at Conway Medical Center. Mr. Skipper was born in Horry County, a son of the late Smiley Hampton Skipper and Foye Jenkins Skipper. He was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Mr. Skipper was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Gunner Island Hunting Club, and an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Skipper was preceded in death by five brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are three sons, Jack Timothy Skipper and wife, Dorothy, of Rock Hill, S.C., Keith B. Skipper and wife, Wendy, and Reddick A. Skipper, all of Conway, S.C.; and five grandchildren, Christina Harman, Stanton Skipper, Ellen Skipper, Claire Skipper, and Erica Skipper. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2010 at Pisgah United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Allen Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
