FLORENCE - Mary Daisy Anderson Price, 99 of Florence, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Southland Nursing Home after an illness. Mrs. Price was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late S.P. and Helen S. Anderson. She was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Travis Elree Price; two sons, Elree Price and Sherwood Price; and a brother, Samuel Waldo Anderson. Surviving are two sons, Travis Dean Price of Florence and Frank Wendell (Joleen) Price of Charlotte, NC; a daughter-in-law, Zeddie Price of Florence; twelve grandchildren, Travis Dean Price, Jr., Annette (Joe) Eason, Donna (Scott) Ross, Brett (Tammy) Price, David (Charlotte) Price, Marilyn (Randy) Scurry, Pam Houtz, all of Florence, Dell (Jennifer) Price of Atlanta, GA, Caroline (Doug) Harrison of Irmo, Mike (Michele) Price and Belinda (Tommy) Chaix both of Louisiana, and Penny (Tim) Fox of Florida; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Private Burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Published in Morning News on July 26, 2010
