    2. GALIVANTS FERRY - Mr. Jinks P. Hardwick, age 79, husband of Lena Mae Hardwick, passed away July 22, 2010 at Marion Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hardwick was born October 24, 1930 a son of the late Joseph Sumter and the late Mamie Lane Hard-wick. He was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church. He enjoyed his dogs, hunting, and visiting with all his friends at Vaught's Grocery and B&B Midland Market. He was predeceased by one granddaughter Kacie Nicole Stephens, five brothers, John Lacy Hardwick, Bruce Hardwick, Bennie Hard-wick, George Hardwick, Pal Hardwick, and one sister, Elizabeth Hardwick Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are; one son, Dean Hardwick and his wife Clarissia R. of Galivants Ferry, one daug-hter, Frankie Stephens and her husband Fenton of Nichols, one brother, A.D. Hardwick of Mullins, one sister Pauline Best of Galivants Ferry, two grand-daughters, Deana H. Jordan and her husband Nicholas of Aynor, and Jenny Hardwick of Galivants Ferry. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Rehobeth United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Rehobeth United Methodist Church, 2804 Methodist Rehobeth Rd.
