Gladys Larrimore Hardee, 76, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at Conway Medical Center. She was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Mack and Dessie Richardson Larrimore. Gladys was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to many. She was a hard worker and farmed most of her life. She enjoyed working with her flowers and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Alfred "Tom" Hardee; two brothers, John Edgar and Lloyd Larrimore; one sister, Ellie Harrelson; step mother, Mattie Woodberry Larrimore; and one grandson, Kendall Cannon. Mrs. Hardee is survived by two sons, Tommy Hardee (Tammy) and Rodney Hardee, both of Conway; three daughters, Teresa Compton (Jimmy) of Sumter, Judy Davis (Jackie) of Galivants Ferry, and Sandra Cannon (Kenny) of Conway; three brothers, Leroy Larrimore of Aynor, Willie Larrimore (Dot) of Sumter, and Randy Larrimore (Katrina) of Britton's Neck; six sisters, Janice Thomas, Ruth Harrelson (Phillip), Geraldine Skipper, all of Conway, Dorothy Evans of Pamplico, Jeanette Harrelson (Charles) of Aynor and Vernice Jordan (Lynwood) of Florence; one sister-in-law, Christine Larrimore of Conway; eleven grandchildren, Kim and Michael Compton, Tabitha Jordan, Brandon Cannon, Reggie, Kevin and Jennifer Davis, Travis and Blaze Hardee and Brooke and T. J. Hardee; six great grandchildren; and many other family and friends who will miss her. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services, from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
