Harry Lee Norris, III, age 52, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at his home following an illness. Mr. Norris was born October 1, 1957 in Daytona Beach, Florida a son of the late Harry Lee Norris, II and the late Cathleen Tyler Norris. He was a member of Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church in Nakina, N.C. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Ray and Paul Norris, and two grandsons, Kaycen Smith and Steven Owens. Survivors include his wife, Vi Norris of Loris, one daughter, Kaylyn Norris of Green Sea, one stepdaughter, Casie Owens of Loris, one stepson, Jason Owens and his wife, Crystal, of Hopkinsville, Ky., seven grandchildren, Tevin, Bryson, Noah, Joshua, Halee, Alison, and Leah, two brothers, Jimmy Norris and his wife, Judy, of Loris and Jerry Norris and his wife, Fawn, of Loris, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 31, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Ward Funeral Home in Loris. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2010 from the Ward Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery.
