Mary Frances Dew, age 78, of Janette Street, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Dew was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Harvey B. and Serena Johnson Tindal. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from A.V.X after 34 years of service. Mrs. Dew was predeceased by her son, Lamar Dew, a granddaughter, Betsy Dew and two brothers, Tilman B. Tindal and Radd Dew, Jr. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Odell Dew of Conway; one daughter, Patricia Dew of Conway; three grandchildren, Diana "Shelley" Herrington, Michael "Mickey" Holt and Alex Lamar Dew all of Conway; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Lauren and Sally; three brothers, Willie Tindal and Harvey Tindal, Jr. both of Conway and Jerry Tindal of Ash, NC; two sisters, Willie Mae Roberts and Serena Johnson both of Conway; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday at with Rev. Weldon Coates and Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Dew Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
