John B. King, age 75, of Pitch Landing Road, died Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Conway Medical Center. Mr. King was born in Horry County, a son of the late Leon and Lula Godwin King. He was a member of The Prayer Center. Mr. King enjoyed his grandchildren and nature. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie King and Levon King; two sisters, Doris Cox and Edna Earl Faircloth. Surviving are his wife, Mary Frances King of Conway; one son, John "Buddy" King and wife Kathy of Conway; two daughters, Jeanine Smalls and husband Mike, Robin Dunn and husband David all of Conway; six grandchildren, Kyle Smalls, Brandon King, Matthew Smalls, Hope Dunn, Kaitlyn Dunn, and Daniel Dunn; and one brother, Jimmy King. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at The Prayer Center with Rev. Norman Johnson and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
