Clifton Tate Cannon, 60, died Wednesday in Loris Hospital following a long illness. Mr. Cannon was born June 26, 1949 in Horry County, a son of the late Tate Clifton Cannon and Ola Mae Prosser Cannon. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Surviving are his wife, Mary McNeill Cannon of Aynor; 2 sons, Todd Clifton Cannon of Myrtle Beach and Daniel Wayne Cannon of Johnsonville; a daughter, Georgette Dieckman of North Dakota; a brother, Albert M. Cannon; a sister, Jo Hucks both of Conway; 7 grandchildren; 1 niece, 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Funeral services will be held at Conway Funeral Services, 2:00 PM Sunday with Rev.
