Mr. Albert "Bert" Benjamin Todd, III, age 37, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at his home following a sudden illness. Bert was born on September 19, 1972 in Loris to Mr. Albert Benjamin "Ben" Todd, Jr. and Mrs. Carolyn Meredith Todd. Bert worked with Horry Telephone Cooperative, he was an avid fisherman and was a member of New Horizon Baptist Worship Center in Tabor City, NC. Bert loved life and people, he was always quick with a smile and loved helping others regardless of what it cost him. He brightened everyday and was simply one of those rare people you meet in life that you just can't help but love. He was the best father, husband, son, brother and friend that you could ever want. He will be deeply missed, Heaven's gain is our loss. We Love You Bert! Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Loris First United Methodist Church with committal services following at Patterson Cemetery. Dr. Tom Ward and Pastor Russell Freeman will officiate. Visitation will be Friday June 11, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hardwick Funeral Home.
