Mr. Donnie Evans Gerald, age 80, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Loris Extended Care Facility, following an illness. Mr. Gerald was born April 18, 1930 in Loris, SC to Mr. Dexter Russel Gerald and Mrs. Cora Stevens Gerald. Mr. Gerald was retired tobacco farmer, he retired from Horry County Public Works with twenty-three years of service, and was a member of Cane Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include his two sons: Bruce Gerald and wife, Suprena of Loris, SC and Tony Gerald and wife, Jennifer, of Loris, SC; four grandchildren, one of whom was very special to his heart, Scott Gerald, and one great-grandchild. Mr. Gerald was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Marjorie T. Gerald, and a daughter, Judy Martin. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 11, 2010, at Cane Branch Cemetery.
