Daniel and Edith Strickland Johnson are both mentioned in the estate papers of William Strickland in 1828. It appears they lived in the Methodist Rehobeth area of Horry County. Daniel Johnston is listed in the 1850/60 Horry County census with wife Annie. Think Edith may have died before 1850 and Annie may have been a second wife.
