    3. June 22, 1999 Dear Group: 1. If anybody on the SCHORRY has the IRQ for Vol. 4, No. 2, pages 28-29, please look up Herbert Huck's article entitled "Horry County Local Methodist Preachers, 1874-1968". What churches were the following ministers attached to: William Thomas, 1888; John William Elkins, 1900; and, John Clark Atkinson, 1923? They may have been assigned to the "Conway Station" which I am guessing was the First United Methodist Church of Conway. Or if you can tell me what churches these 3 ministers served by some other source, that would be almost as good. 2. What is the name and mailing address of the First United Methodist Church in Conway? 3. Does the First United Methodist Church of Conway maintain "Minister's Books" such as baptismal, marriage, and funeral records from 1888 onwards and if so, where may they be obtained to read? If anybody could help me out on these 3 questions, I would really really appreciate it. Thanks-----Julian Harper
