My husband's ggrandfather was Earl C. Ellis (1838-1905). He married Rebecca (last name unknown, but we think it was Morrow) who died about 1882. Originally from Georgetown Co., he lost an arm at the Battle of Atlanta and was a schoolteacher in Horry County after the war. He lived in the Gallivant's Ferry area. I'm trying to find more info about him, where he is buried, and wife's parents, etc. The children were: Gabriel L. Ellis (b.1871), Mary E. Ellis (b. 1873), Sharlott A. "Lottie" Ellis (b. 1876)--think she married Eddie Allen, Sarah R. Ellis (b.1878), Jim Ellis (B.1880)--died young, Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Ellis--our ancestor (b.1882 at Cool Springs) Thanks, Sarah Screven, GA edmondson@jesup.net ------=_NextPart_000_0041_01BF2C52.D5425DA0 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; name="Sarah Edmondson.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Sarah Edmondson.vcf" BEGIN:VCARD VERSION:2.1 N:Edmondson;Sarah FN:Sarah Edmondson NICKNAME:Work EMAIL;PREF;INTERNET:sedmonds@doe.k12.ga.us REV:19991111T194126Z END:VCARD ------=_NextPart_000_0041_01BF2C52.D5425DA0--
