Dear Pearl, I have very little info on WILLIAM SINGLETON, b. c1740, other than he was a Colonel in the Continental Army and a Baptist minister. He married PERMELIA PARSONS, b. c1750 in Charleston, SC. These are my 5th great grandparents. I do not know her parent's names but it is possible (but not proven) that she had a brother named SAMUEL and a sister named CATHERINE. I do have additional info on WILLIAM and PERMELIAS descendants and will glady make it available if you want. Someone recently suggested my SINGETONS may be from the Horry Co. bunch so that is where I put out my recent feeler. I hope it pays off. Do you know anything about these two people? Thanks, Don
