You will notice that some of my dates are different from yours, but my information is copied from the tombstones. Some of what I have here may be erroneous, but it is the best I can do for now. What I would like for you to do is review this information and tell me what you find wrong and to add any additional information that you may have. Also give me complete names and dates including the day date. There is no longer any doubt in my mind that this is the correct Hellen, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Inman. Helen Inman married David Ward (b. 1834) the son of Simon Ward and Sally Cartrette (b. 1806). They had the following children: I. (b. 4-6- 1895;d. 2-16-1959), William H., Jr. (b. 7-20-1904;d. 12-18-1962) and Helon (Ethel ?) (b. 11-28-1909;d. 7-3-1987). It is believed that James m. Tizzie McDowell (b. 5-6-1894;d. 3-9-1980). Archie was a veteran of WWI. He m. Charlotte McDowell (b. 11-11-1903;d. 2-18-1976). They had an infant daughter (b.&d. 1930). William m. Blanche Cox (b. 4-20- 1905;d.7-16-1988). They had Clara Mae (b. 7-18-1921;d. 8-30-1924), John Henry (b. 5-29-1927;d. 7-18-1969) and Mary Ann Bratcher (b. 1-1- 1940;d. 11-1-1941). Helon m. Samuel Anderson (Sam) (b. 1-3-1906; d.3-7-1973). Their son Joseph Anderson married Clara Mae Hardee. Their daughter Lila Mae Anderson married Preston Eugene Fairfax and they had Dan Fairfax. II. Sarah Georgiana Ward (b. 1866) III. Gustavus S. Ward (b. 11-1865) married Mary Francis Causey (b. ? ;d. 7-1936). IV. George Thomas Ward (b. 11-22-1872;d. 4-15-1937) married Doney Hall (b. 3-10-1882;d. 12-25-1933). V. Anson T. Ward (b. 7-2-1875) m. Susan A. ? (b. 12-12-1881) VI. David Dueberry Ward (b. 5-19-1878;d. 1-13-1938) married Georgianna Bazen (b. 3-13-1881;d. 3-8-1952). Helen and David are buried in the Thorpe Cemetery. Eliza, William and many of their children are buried in the Graham Cemetery near Nixonville, South Carolina. George, Doney, Anson, Susan, David and Georgianna are buried in the Pleasant Plain Cemetery near Little River, South Carolina. Do you know where the Thorpe cemetery is located? Please tell me. This makes you kin to most of the families in five North Carolina counties and four South Carolina counties. Let me hear from you with more information and I will send you more.
