Dear Reverend NtrNetRdNk@aol.com, I am a Mason, my father was a Mason, my mother was an Eastern Star, many, many, many of my relatives were Masons. Never, have I considered it to be a "cultish" organization. In college I was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. We had a "secret" handshake, as do most fraternities and sororities. Never did I consider it to be a "cultish" organization. It might prove beneficial to you to sit down with a Mason to really find out what the organization is really about. I cannot figure out your remark "as a Christian minister..........what they "give" to the public means! My whole life I have been a devout Christian, as were my parents, etc. If once I ever thought that being a Mason was detrimental to or against my Christian beliefs I would have left the Masonic Lodge in a heartbeat. God bless, Fernie George Holt
