On the SC roster of revolutionary soldiers there are two John Carlile/Carlisles. One John Carlile served in the 2nd Regiment, the other John Carlisle served with the militia during1789 and 1782. At some time he was under Capt. Samuel Price and Col. McDonald. Does anyone know anything about either John Carlile. Could either be the John Carlile who died in Horry Co. between 1800 and 1810.
