World War II Veterans The 1999 Applied Communication Class IV at the Aynor/Conway Career Center has complied a list of 3,813 names of Horry County men and women who served in World War II. They want to honor all servicemen and women who were born in Horry County or had this county as their home address at the time of their enlistment. After about six months of research, they have typed the names. They will be installed permanently in the Horry County Memorial Library. But errors need to be corrected before the installation is made. Please help us. If you find any errors or if you know of any missing names, please notify Sylvia Reddick or the webmaster.
