I have a picture which I would love to be able to identify. Its one my father had and when my brother and I noticed it, my father's memory had slipped too far for him to remember who the subject is or where he got it. He could only remember that he got it from "someone in the family". Does anyone know of a place where such photos can be posted where they will be seen by others who might be able to identify them? List rules don't allow attachments. The HCHS has a section for pictures but its organized for displaying pictures of known persons. There is some faded writing on the back but the only thing that is still legible is "1884". The picture is mounted on a cardboard mount which is gray on the back side - about the same color as pencil lead! Anyone know of a practical technique to bring out faded pencil marks? I'm reasonably sure the person must be someone from Horry or there about. Thanks, Robert E. Lewis
