Okay, would anyone like to comment my conclusion? (a) The SC Department of Archives and History Alphabetical Index contains the entry, "GRAHAM, E. F., Graham, James M., plat for 45 acres in All Saints Parish, Horry District, surveyed by James Beaty" dated 1855/06/09 and under the same E. F. Graham entry "LONG, Isaac G., plat for 833 acres on Kings Town Lake Swamp, Horry District, surveyed by James A. Thompson" dated 1856/12/18. This means E.F. and James were neighbors and E.F. and Isaac were neighbors so James and Isaac were probably neighbors. (b) The 1850 Federal Census for Horry District lists Isaac G. Long (age 40) with Prudence (age 16), William H. (age 15), Mary (age 12), Adeline? (age 10), John D. (age 8), Reny (age 7), Louisa (age 6), Lorenzo (age 4) and Melvina (age 2). (c) James M. married Amanda M. Long December 22, 1865 after returning from the war. Therefore; given the proximity of the properties, and at least two reoccurrence of names (my Grandfather was Lorenzo D. and he had a brother Isaac M.); I believe that Melvina is my gg-grandmother Amanda M(elvina) Long.
