I am trying to find a cemetery in Horry County that has the graves of Earl C. Ellis, Rebecca Ellis, and three of their children, Alice, Pickens, Jim or James Ellis. The cemetery would be in the Aynor/Cool Springs/Gallivant's Ferry area. Their land was near Huckleberry Bay and was sold in 1904-5 to Evander Graham. I have checked all the Horry County on-line cemetery records and have found nothing. It may be they were buried in a family cemetery? Is there anyone familiar with this area who could give me a clue or someone to contact? Also, has anyone done a history of the educational system in Horry County that might list schools and teachers in the 1870-1900 period? Thanks, Sarah Edmondson
