    2. I found this deed in Princess Anne Co., VA and knew that all the Hardee descendants in Horry would find it of interest. It is not my family but thought it might help provide proof for Averilla's maiden name. Will be glad to send an attachment if you will contact me privately. Tingleff Princess Anne Co., Virginia Deed Book 8, Pgs. 520, 521 THIS INDENTURE made the sixteeth Day of December In the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & sixty Between ANDREW HARDY & EVERILLA his Wife of North Carolina of the one Part and BAGWELL MOORE of the County of Princess Anne in Virginia of the other Part Wittnesseth that the said ANDREW MOORE and EVERILLA his Wife for and Consideration of the Sum of twelve Pounds Current Money of Virginia to them in Hand paid by the said BAGWELL MOORE before the ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof from every Part and Parcel thereof doth hereby acquit release and discharge the said BAGWELL MOORE his Heirs, Exors and Aministratrs he she and every of them have granted, bargained, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Pressents Do and each of them do grant, bargain, sell, enfeoff and confirm and forever release unto the said BAGWELL MOORE a certain Parcel of Land containing by estimation thirtyseven acres & one half being her full Part of one hundred Acres of a Plantation now in the possession of the said BAGWELL MOORE which Part descended to the said EVERILLA HARDY one of the Daughters of and Coheirs of SARAH (wife of JACOB TAYLOR) her Mother deceased according to it�s known Boundes be the same more or less And the Reversion & Reversions Remainder & Remainders, Rents, Issues and Profits of all and singular the Premi�s and of every Part and Parcel thereof with their and every of their Appurtenances and all the Estate, Title, Right and Interest, together with all Propertys, Claims and Demands of them the said ANDREW HARDY & EVERILLA his Wife of in or to the sd Land and Premises or any Part or Parcel thereof with their Appurtenances and all the Estate, Right, Title and Interest thereof To have and to hold the aforesaid Piece or Parcel of Land and all and singular the Premises herein ment�d with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said BAGWELL MOORE his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use & Behoof of the said BAGWELL MOORE his Heirs & assigns forever And the ANDREW HARDY & EVERILLA his Wife for themselves their Heirs, Exors and Adminrs the said hereby conveyed Lands and Permises and every Part and Parcel thereof with their Appurtenances unto the said BAGWELL MOORE his Heirs and Assigns against them the said HARDY & EVERILLA his Wife and all other Persons whatsoever shall & will forever by these Presents Warrant & defend And that free and clear and freely and clearly acquitted, realeased exonerated and discharged or otherwise well and sufficently saved kept harmless and indemnified by the said ANDREW HARDY & EVERILLA his Wife their Heirs, Exors and Admrs off from and against all and all, Manner of former and other Gifts, Grants, Bargains, Sales, Leases, Jointures, Mortgages, Dowers, Entails and off and from, all Estates, Titles and Incumbrances whatsoever had, made, done or committed or suffered by the said ANDREW HARDY OR EVERILLA his Wife or any other Person whatsoever In Witness whereof the said ANDREW HARDY AND EVERILLA his Wife the Parties to these Presents have hereunto sett their Hands & Seals the Day & Year first above written. his Signed sealed & del�d } ANDREW A HARDY & Seal in Presence of ----- } mark his WM: GODFREY AVERELO X HARDY & Seal HENRY GASKING mark HARRISON BANKS Memorandum that full and peaceable & Possession was this Day had & taken of the Land & Premises within mentioned by ANDREW HARDY & EVERILLA his Wife within named and by them delivered to the aforesaid BAGWELL MOORE to hold to him the said BAGWELL MOORE his Heirs and Assigns forever according to the Intent & meaning of the within Indenture------- In Presence of WM: GODFREY HENRY GASKING HARRISON BANKS Rec�d the Day and year above Written the Sum of twelve Pounds Currt Money of Virginia of the within named BAGWELL MOORE being the Consideration Money within mentioned Is agreed �. me his ANDREW A HARDY mark her AVORELO X HARDY mark Note: Marilyn Capps got the deed for me and has spent many hours searching the internet. She found; Moore, Bagwell married Woodhouse, Mary on 17 May 1737 in Princess Anne County, Virginia Moore, Bagwell married Wiles, Elizabeth on 10 Jan 1783 in Princess Anne County, Virginia Also: According to a Woodhouse researcher Mary Woodhouse who married 21 Feb. 1758 Bagwell Moore was the daughter of Henry H. Woodhouse and Mary Lovett. Another Woodhouse researcher states: In the article "Marriage Licenses, Princess Anne County" by Edward James, W&M Quarterly, V. 1, No. 3 (Jan. 1893), pp. 162-163, there is also a marriage license dated May 17, 1737 for Bagwell Moore and MRS. Mary Woodhouse. Signing the license were Bagwell Moore, Edward Cannon and William Cox.
