ELLIS (1838-1905). He was in the Horry County Census of 1880 with wife Rebecca (b. 1849-50), Gabriel L. (b. 1871), Mary E. (b. 1873), Sharlott A. (b. 1876), Sarah R. (b.1878), Jim (B. 1880), and Benjamin Franklin (b.1882 at Cool Springs). There were two children, Pickens (b. 1867) and Alice (b. 1870), who were no longer living in 1880. Previously he was in Georgetown County in 1860 and 1870. He listed his birthplace as Pee Dee, SC. He had a brother Gabriel L. ELLIS (1844-1930) who was buried in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Georgetown County. Both served in Co. A, 10th SC Volunteers, CSA. Earl lost an arm at Battle of Atlanta and was a schoolteacher in Horry County after the war. I would especially like to know where he and other family members are buried and any information to help determine his parents. I have not been able to link him to a father in Georgetown or Horry counties. There is a possibility he may be from a family listed in the 1860 Darlington County census. Thanks, Sarah Edmondson Screven, GA ------=_NextPart_000_0018_01BF19CF.C720BF40 Content-Type: text/x-vcard; name="Sarah Edmondson.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="Sarah Edmondson.vcf" BEGIN:VCARD VERSION:2.1 N:Edmondson;Sarah FN:Sarah Edmondson NICKNAME:Work EMAIL;PREF;INTERNET:sedmonds@doe.k12.ga.us REV:19991019T051757Z END:VCARD ------=_NextPart_000_0018_01BF19CF.C720BF40--
