When you talk with Mrs. Jackson, you also need to ask her to do an "Unfiled Papers" microfilm search. It seems that after 20 years of sorting and filing the Confederate Vets papers and records, the National Archives just gave up and piled over 1,000 microfilm rolls worth of material into the "Unfiled Rolls" and never bothered to place these docs with the soldiers Compiled Service Recrods.
