I am a descendant of Joseph Jackson Todd, b.4Oct 1816, d. 25 Feb 1901, in Conway, Horry County, SC. I have information that says his father was William Todd, Jr., b. 14 Jul 1775 d. 30 Aug 1858, and that his grandfather was William John Todd, Sr., b. circa 1745 in Scotland. This information I have gleaned from other researchers, but I personally have no hard proof of the connection. I am very interested in locating information about this family.
