Could someone help this gentleman? I'm afraid I can't. The only Singleton I have is one of the brick wall's I have. Thanks, Dianne P.S. If anyone knows anything about my Singleton I would truly appreciate your help. My Singleton is Margaret Singleton, born about 1801, and who married Samuel Moore in Horry County, South Carolina. The information from the 1850 Horry County census is as follows: Samuel Moore, 48, Male, White, Farmer, SC; M.A., 49, Female, White, SC; Bryant, 15, Male, White, SC; Larry, 14, Male, White, SC; (James?) John, 12, Male, White, SC; W., 10, Male, White, SC; Saul A., 8, Male, White, SC; Margaret, 6, Female, White, SC; Henry, 5, Male, White, SC; Daniel E., 1/12, Male, White, SC The 1860 census gives her name but I cannot find any Singleton with a daughter named Margaret in the right time period. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Gary Singleton Date: Wed, 17 May 2000 06:47:26 EDT From: M2dws@aol.com To: ladydee@erols.com Greetings from Alaska! I am in the USAF stationed here in Anchorage and am trying to find a needle in a haystack. I am trying to find the name of the father or mother of Gary Singleton. He is my great grandfather by birth. My mother and father divorced when I was 2 thus the reasoning behind me providing you with such little information. I do know that he lived and died in Conway. His occupation was that of a veterinarian. Also, he married a lady named Mary Dew. His son, my grandfather, was Troy Singleton Sr. I can only assume, judging by Troy Sr.'s birth year, he was born in the late 1800's. I do know that his son, Troy Sr., was born and died in Conway. 1 Gary Singleton +Mary Dew 2 Troy Singleton Sr. b. 11-4-1915 d.5-2-1984 +Susan Allene Lundy b. 3-26-1922 Any info you can provide on Gary Singleton will be sincerely appreciated. Thank you tremendously for all of your time and efforts! V/R, Mark
