Sonja, I belive I have found a part of my family in the Martin outline you have posted. From stories my mother has told me, I belive that the Martins below are part mine. Follow, if you will. My mothers father was William Wilson Squires. After his first wife died he married Elizabeth Johnson. They had 3 children, Doshie Lee, Lilly and Malcolm. When these children were from 6 to 10 years old, William Wilson Squires died and the children went to live with Squires uncles, reasons are unknown. Elizabeth remarried to Daniel G Martin. Mothers remembers some of the children to be, Coleman, Grace and Dozier. These are in your outline. I have the obit for Daniel D.Martin and it lists Coleman and Mark as his brothers. How sure are you of the "Alice" Johnson below? Could it be Elizabeth? There are so many of the names that match mine, I just gotta belive this is part of my family that has been lost for years. Do you have more on these Martins? The obit(1977) gives Mark Martin being in Red Springs, NC. Coleman Martin being in Laurinburg, NC. April 25, 2000 Dear James and Sonya: Are these folks any kin to David P. Martin, dob 1800 and dod 1855 and his wife M.A. Martin, their daughter Francis, dob 1833 who married Asa Garden Causey?
