Hugh W. Dew married Martha Jane Singleton on February 3, 1881. Hugh was born September 6, 1852 and died April 6, 1936. Martha (known as Mattie) was born April 15, 1859 and died August 25, 1929. They had seven children: Lauden H. Dew, b. March, 1882 Sammie D., b. February, 1884 Georgia B., born April, 1886 John H., born February, 1888 Walter M., born August, 1890, died August 25, 1965. Buried at Hebron Methodist Church Cemetary in Conway, SC. Libbie L., born February, 1895 and Leroy C., born November 26, 1889, died February 10, 1921. Buried with his parents at the Spivey Cemetary outside of Tabor City, NC Martha was my great-grandfather, Asa Walker Singleton's, sister.
