Anderson TABOR CITY, N.C. - Ethel Squires Anderson, 86, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Marion Nursing Center. She was born in Barnesville, N.C., a daughter of the late Coleman and Minnie Strickland Squires. She was the widow of John Paul Anderson. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, David Anderson of Columbia and Mitchell Anderson of Marion; two stepchildren, Edward Anderson of Loris and Billie Pearl McPherson of Clarendon, N.C.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandchild. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City, N.C. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.
