James M(ontgomery?). and Amanda Melvina were my gg-grandparents. Their son, John Robert was my g-grandfather. What is your connection? Here is what I have. Hope it helps and am very interested to hear what you may have on any ancestors and other family members. 1. James M(ontgomery?) GRAHAM (James M, John James, John James) was born September 29, 1837 in Horry County, South Carolina, and died Bef. 1912 in Georgia. He married Amanda Melvina LONG December 22, 1865 in South Carolina, daughter of Isaac LONG and Nancy HICKMAN. She, Amanda, was born July 14, 1848 in Horry County, South Carolina, and died 1914 in Florida. James M. served as a Private in Company B, 10th Regiment South Carolina Volunteers during the War Between the States. He mustered in at Georgetown, SC on July 19, 1861 and served until the end of the war. According to Joan Graham Friel, he was called Grandpa Jim. Amanda submitted a "WIDOW'S APPLICATION To Be Put on Roll in Her Own Right When Husband Was on the Indigent Roll or Put on Under Act of July 11, 1910" for Wayne County, Georgia. 2. John Robert Graham (James M., John James, John James) was born April 24, 1867 in Horry County, South Carolina, and died October 23, 1936 in Waycross, Ware County, Georgia(?). He married Lula Mae ODUM August 23, 1888, daughter of Leonard Odum and Martha HARRISON. Lula Mae was born December 29, 1871 in Wayne County, Georgia, and died December 2, 1959 in Georgia. 3. William Ivy Graham (James M, John James, John James) was born 1872 in South Carolina. He married Dora CRANDAL. She was born in Florida. Children of William and Dora are: Walter Graham, born 1900, Georgia; James H. Graham, born 1902, Georgia; Roy Lee Graham, born 1905, Georgia; and Linnie Lee Graham, b. 1906, Georgia. What I have on the others is; Victoria E. Graham was born 1875; Amanda I. Graham was born 1878 and married H. GIBSON; and Georgia A. Graham was born in 1884, never married and died 1919/1920 of TB.
