Paula Benjamin F Avant b5-22-1837, Horry Co SC d5-26-1887, Socates SC married Laura M Durant b 1844 Georgetown SC d 1924 Chadbourn, NC Her parents were GeorgeDurant b 1817or 1827, d 1865 and Amanda b 1828 d Dec. 1899 Benjamin and Laura had 3 children, George Durant Avant, b 8-14-1871, Horry Co SC, d 9-10-1935, Chadbourn NC - Euleal Avant, b 12-28-1874 Cool Springs SC d 9-16-1949 Rock Hill SC - Wade Hampton Avant b11-19-1876 Horry Co SC d 10-18-1930 Wilmington NC Wade Hampton was my grandfather He married Anna Elizabeth Richardson They had 2 sons Wade Hampton, Jr. and Paul Benjamin ( my Dad) Next family - Ben and Jane Avant - had son Robert Derrick Avant b Georgetown SC, married Olivia Jacobs They had son Ozzie Lee Avant b 2-5-1914 Georgetown SC married Ethel Lou Powers They had son Hiram Lww Avant born in Red Springs NC Next familyThomas Avant married Drucilla or Priscilla Ammons Had son Rev. John Avant b 1850 marion Co SC d 1928 Whiteville, NC buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery John married Sarah "Sally" Shelly in 1875 She died 1924 in Red Springs NC They had daughter Bessie Mae Avant b 1900 Marion Co SC Bessie married George Vernon Butler Thomas and Drucilla/Priscilla also had children Melvina and Baker Baler married Flora? and they had children Hattie Bb 1-1-1882 d 10-21 or31 1926, Julius S or B b 6-21-1878 d 5-11- 1906 or 1908, Troy b 8-5-1886 d 6-14-1918, E.
